IT was a celebration for School of Hospitality & Tourism as Mohd Fadhlullah Muayyad Abdul Majid from NTec in Professional Cookery and Services (HNT02/NA/APC08) was announced as the winner for the Student Category at the Taste of Australia in Brunei 2019 Culinary Challenge.
The event that was held at the Radisson Hotel also saw 13 participations from the School under the same category presenting varieties of culinary inspiration with a fusion of Australian and Bruneian ingredients or flavours.
The students were judged by Masterchef Australia 2018 winner, Chef Sashi Cheliah and Brunei Food Blogger, Thanis Lim along with public voting.
Mohd Fadhlullah presented a savoury dish- Grilled Beef Tenderloin Masak Hitam served with Broccolini and Australia Mushroom Masak Merah.
Presenting the prize was the Guest of Honor; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Apong, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism.
