This course provides students with the knowledge and practical understanding of instrumentation and process control systems used in industrial applications. Students will learn the principles of measuring, monitoring and controlling process variables, as well as the functions of controllers, final control elements and different process control strategies. Emphasis is placed on relating theoretical concepts to practical and industrial applications to support the development of relevant technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
