Paediatric Nursing is an elective 10-credit module for NTec Assistant Nurse students combining institutional and clinical learning. It covers child growth, nutrition, safety, immunization, and common childhood conditions. Using lectures, demonstrations, role play, and hands-on practice, students develop competencies in pediatric care procedures and health promotion. Assessment includes coursework (30%), presentation (35%), and poster (35%), with a 50% passing mark. The module requires 20 clinical hours and utilizes specialized equipment and simulation labs to prepare students for effective, safe pediatric nursing practice.
