- To develop an understanding on the concept of light theory in fiber optic communication.
- To develop an understanding on the different modes of fiber and its characteristics.
- To analyse the different components on the fiber optic communication system and perform a simple link budget analysis.
- To perform fiber splicing, testing, and troubleshooting of fiber optic link according to standard industry practices.
- To apply safety when working with fiber optic cables.
