This course aims:
- To develop student awareness on the hazard and associated with explosive materials.
- To develop students' awareness on the nature of the risk and the necessity to eliminate sources ignition
- To provide knowledge on area classification
- To provide knowledge on different types of certified equipment
- To provide knowledge & skill on the relationship between electrical equipment, gas groups and temperature classes
- To provide knowledge & skill on installation, inspection and maintenance of the different types of certified equipment
