8th OCTOBER 2018 (MONDAY) – Fifteen representatives from School of Information and Computer Technology have recently went for a one week visit to the Institute of Technology Education (ITE) College West, Singapore.
The visit was part of the Staff and Student Exchange programme between both leading technical institutions started from 30th September until 7th October 2018, participated by 10 students from HNTec programme under the School of ICT along with 5 staff including the Head of School, Cg Hassan Mohammed Zahir Hussain. Such programme aims to provide a platform for IBTE students and staff in exploring new skills with a global approach on the Electronic and Info-Comm Technology courses offered by ITE moreover experiencing the overall campus environment and lifestyle.
Throughout the visitation, IBTE students had the opportunity to attend classroom session, facility tour and ITE symposium at the College Central to name a few.
Moreover, the staff participated in the authentic teaching experience such as using Autodesk Fusion 360, studying Flipped Classroom approach, Cross Module Learning and delivery method through observation in the class session.
