DECEMBER 2021 – A 3-day BIMP-EAGA Entrepreneurship Camp with the theme “Entrepreneurship in the era of COVID-19” commenced with an opening ceremony held virtually on 6 December 2021.
The BIMP-EAGA Entrepreneurship Camp is attended by a total of 553 participants comprised of students, instructors and professionals from BIMP-EAGA member country states including students from UBD, UTB, UNISSA, PB, IBTE and Private Higher Education institutions.
In his opening speech, Dr Zamri, CEO of IBTE highlighted, that the Camp is the first of its kind within the BIMP-EAGA region and it is designed to equip the participants with the skills, knowledge and necessary tools to develop and create their entrepreneurial path to generate their own form of employment. The activities spanning the 3 days will help provide essential information to the participants on how to guide their way as entrepreneurs in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr Zamri expressed his great appreciation to the BIMP-EAGA Entrepreneurship Camp Organizing Committee, *Senior government officials and especially Senior Official Members from the BIMP-EAGA member states for their support and presence at the ceremony via virtual mode.
