The School of Agro-Technology and Applied Sciences gives priority to training students in the application of modern technology in agriculture to achieve effective and quality agricultural production.

BRUNEI MARITIME ACADEMY

The Brunei Maritime Academy (BMA) is a maritime training centre established as a result of close collaboration between the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Communication.

The main objective of the academy is to produce maritime professionals and seafarers approved and recognized by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) for expanding their workforce development in the Brunei Darussalam maritime industry sector.

SCHOOL OF BUILDING TECHNOLOGY SERVICES

Building Technology Services School is one of six schools under the Central Brunei Institute of Technical Education (IBTE CENTRAL).

The school offers courses suitable in the areas of development, surveyors, interior decoration and also building services such as Masonry, Plumbing, Painting and Carpentry (Construction). The teaching staff at this school have the qualifications and skills to teach and practice the skills required by these students in line with current industry needs.

To provide hands-on training an authentic learning centre was established called the ‘Youth Enterprise Services (YES) Center’. The Center provides students with real learning experiences based on practical exposure and authentic business operations.

In addition to business programmes, the school also offers Office Administration and Secretarial programs that provide students with knowledge and skills in office administration and management.

The school also runs programmes in electrical engineering that incorporate various modules to ensure students have the necessary critical skills and knowledge while developing the skills needed to meet challenges in the electrical related industry.
