International and Industry Linkages Division
The International and Industry Linkages Division at IBTE Headquarters plays a vital role in fostering strategic partnerships and collaborations with industry stakeholders, communities, and international partners. It serves as the main liaison for international affairs, coordinating with ministries, industry associations, and global organizations to support initiatives such as student exchange programmes, industrial attachments, and collaborative projects.
The division also oversees the development and implementation of policies and guidelines related to the IBTE Dual System Apprenticeship Programme and other industry-linked initiatives. By working closely with IBTE schools and other internal divisions, it ensures effective coordination for corporate social responsibility efforts, employment of graduates, and the introduction of new apprenticeship programmes.
Additionally, the division manages documentation and events related to Memoranda of Understanding and contract agreements, while actively promoting IBTE’s involvement in international platforms such as UNESCO-UNEVOC, BIMP-EAGA, and WorldSkills.
Estate and Campus Development Division
The Estate and Campus Development Division is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and maintenance of the institution’s physical infrastructure. Its core function is to support a conducive learning and working environment through strategic renovation, modernization, and upkeep of campuses. The division advises on campus planning and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that development projects align with institutional goals and government policies. It manages the procurement and supervision of new buildings, refurbishments, and maintenance works, while also estimating and monitoring annual budgets related to estate development.
Information Technology Services Division
The Information Technology Services Division at IBTE Headquarters plays a central role in supporting the institution’s digital infrastructure and technological advancement. Its core function is to provide secure, reliable, and integrated technology solutions that align with IBTE’s academic and administrative objectives. The division manages the planning, deployment, and maintenance of ICT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems. It also offers end-user support for key platforms such as the Technical and Vocational Education Student Information System (TVESIS), and oversees the institution’s email services to ensure effective communication.
Health, Safety and Environment Unit
The Health, Safety and Environment Unit at IBTE Headquarters is dedicated to promoting a safe, healthy, and secure environment across all IBTE campuses and offices. Its primary role is to support the institution in maintaining high standards of safety and compliance through proactive measures and continuous monitoring. The unit is responsible for investigating incidents, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence. It also collaborates with campus and office- level HSE officers to ensure that safety equipment is properly maintained and emergency procedures are in place and regularly practiced.
