Bridging Classroom Learning and Workplace Expectations

Working closely with industry partners, IBTE programmes are aligned with real-world demands, helping to bridge the gap between classroom learning and workplace expectations. IBTE believes that industry collaboration is key to stay relevant and delivers high-impact, future-ready TVET producing graduates who are not only technically competent but also adaptable, confident, and prepared to thrive in today’s workforce.

Over the years, IBTE has collaborated with various agencies in areas such as curriculum design and development, staff development, student and staff placement and sharing of resources. These collaborations have significantly enriched the learning experience and enhanced the overall quality and relevance of the training provided.

To formalize and strengthen these partnerships, IBTE has established several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with key industry players. These MoUs serve as strategic frameworks that define mutual roles, responsibilities, and areas of cooperation, fostering sustainable partnerships that support skills development, innovation, and continuous improvement in TVET delivery. Through these agreements, IBTE aims to further enhance its capacity to meet industry needs and contribute to the nation’s socio-economic growth.
