In response to the pressing need to reduce unemployment rates among graduates, the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) is proud to announce that it will be organizing its annual IBTE Job Fair aimed at empowering its graduates and strengthening ties with industry partners.
With a steadfast commitment to quality education and student success, IBTE is taking proactive steps to address unemployment among its graduates, aligning with its management quality objectives and vision for the future.
Over 20 companies will participate in this Job Fair and offer various jobs from the Hospitality and Tourism, Trade, Electrical, Electronics, Property Management, Automotive, Construction, Energy and Engineering sectors offering over 290 vacancies.
Present as the Guest of Honour as well as to officiate the event is Yang Mulia Haji Mohd Hanafi bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Diraja Dato Laila Utama Haji Abdul Rahman, Presiden Pertubuhan Ukur, Jurutera dan Arkitek (PUJA).
This year’s IBTE Job Fair 2024 is held at the Multi-Purpose Hall of IBTE Mechanical Campus from 14th May to 16th May 2024. On the first day, 14 May 2024, IBTE graduates can visit IBTE Mechanical Campus starting at 10.00 am and it will end at 4.30 pm. The following day, it will be from 8.00 am to 4.30 pm and on the final day, the event will be open for half a day only.
During the IBTE Job Fair, IBTE also offers a series of skills enhancement workshops, covering topics such as resume writing, interview preparation, and professional development. These workshops, held online according to the provided schedule, will equip graduates with the tools and resources necessary to showcase their talents and secure employment opportunities.
